COMPANY HISTORY
1999: Humble beginnings
Over 20 years ago our founder Mike West started an exterior renovation company out of Orillia, Ontario. Offering services like roofing, soffits, fascia and siding, Mike West and his crews built up a solid reputation in the Muskoka Region and beyond. Known for his exceptional work ethic and high quality workmanship, Mike West and MWI soon became the go to contractors for luxury cottages in the Muskoka Region.
2015: New production capabilities
After 15 years experience in exterior renovations, MWI cannot deny the growing demand for permanent metal roofing products – MWI Metal Roofing in particular. MWI risks everything and invests in their first standing seam roll-former. With a new ability to manufacture made to measure standing seam panels right on the job site, MWI can now provide other roofing contractors with the standing seam panels they need.
2021: Unmatched Roll Forming Fleet
The 2015 investment pays off, and 10 standing seam roll-formers later, MWI Metal Roofing has the greatest on-site manufacturing operation in Ontario. Serving both homeowners (through their installations division) and the roofing trade, MWI have become Ontario’s leading source for standing seam.
